The OG Sony Walkman
Is that a copy of 2112 in there?

Gleaming the Cube got nothing on this. Heck, even the Electric Boogaloo steps back to witness.

Untitled #23 (Old School) is going to set your cardboard on FIRE with continious back spins and some rock solid b-boyin this Friday night, July 31st.

You do know about the DAM's Untitled series, right?

Untitled events keep the museum open late, showcases the "wicked awesome" creatives in Denver, always brings the rock with house DJs, typically involves a cash bar, and generally goes about having one killer art party.

The next event looks like a crow pleaser:

First there's the “Old School” Inspired Art Show Featuring Local Artists (like Mike Graves, Josh Wills, plus a ton more). Then a DJ battle featuring  Postman vs. Wigdan Giddy (Go easy on em Postman). Team Firefox performs a dance set that encourages crowd participation and old-fashioned kicking it. Then the Style Wars begin wherein 8 local designers battle to the death:

each designer is supplied with 1 model, 1 assistant, 1 rack of materials stocked with fabric, recycled garments, raw materials, and everyday objects. They battle it out to create a high fashion ready-to-wear piece in 25 minutes!"

Plus Gigbot will be there, taking goofy photos and rocking this totally sweet photo backdrop. In fact they're encouraging you to:

Bring in your old school photos and paste them up on our Wall of Shame. Most rad photo wins a prize! Don’t be embarrassed, it’ll be cathartic and liberating, we promise."

The events start at 6:00 pm and wind down by 10:00 pm this Friday the 31st. Everything old is new again! Wear your high-tops, flannel, and tracksuits! There's a cubic ton of stuff to do, so don't be late.

Cash bar. Untitled events are free with general museum admission on the final Friday of the month through September. Two-for-one general student admission with valid ID.
