Kick your First Friday off downtown!
The Center for Visual Art is showcasing Metro State's BFA Thesis show: Sm'ART.
Featuring over thirty emerging artists...
"Sm’ART is a diverse exhibition of works that showcases talented metal smiths, ceramists, photographers, painters, and digital artists. The MSCD art department is dedicated to providing their students with an unparallel urban learning environment and a strong sense of community within the local art scene."
It has been a few years since I've been to Metro's BFA show, but I've recently seen CIA, and RMCAD's offerings - so I'm curious as to how they all compare. Plus, with that many artists showing there will be a huge number of pieces and wide variety of styles.
So when you've finished shaking off the workweek at happy hour tonight, wander down the street to LoDo and see some art. The graduates would love to show you what they've been obsessing about.
