One of the many works on display.

In anticipation of the soon to be (fingers-crossed) Over the River, a project for the Arkansas River and their booked solid lecture, Metro State's Center for Visual Art kicks down with a Christo and Jeanne-Claude retrospective, so to speak.

The original works include prints, illustrations, and I think some mockups/models, which have been mysteriously described as "objects".

Most of the pieces haven't see the states in more than 15 years, and none of those have ever been in Colorado.

If you don't like conceptual art, then perhaps you can marvel at the enormity of their projects. Construction can be an art too, y'know? And if you are hip to the underground craft scene, then these two are gonna blow your mind.
