Bicycle Hsbitat is sponsoring what looks like it should be a great evening Thursday at  Eight Mile Creek  in downtown Manhattan. 

First, ride to Bicycle Habitat at 244 Lafayette Street between Prince and Spring, where there will be special discounts and where your bike will be checked safely without charge.

Then head to the bar nearby for  what 's being billed as incredible drink specials plus door prices and  the announcement of the winner of the store's contest for a Trek Soho S, a hybrid bike inspired by our fair city.

Or, bring your bike to participate in goldsprints -- which are races on stationary bike rollers, according to the helpful link to Wikipedia.

Time: 6-9 pm
