Find out more about Skip: Skip Stephens is a professional firefighter and emergency medical technician for the Cottleville Fire Protection District. Skip has a bachelor of science degree in safety management from Central Missouri State University and a master of arts degree in management and leadership from Webster University. Skip has been involved in many capacities during his ten year career in firefighting. He has served as a union representative and has sat on various committees, such as public relations, standard operating procedures, labor/management and union contract negotiation. Skip has been a proud member of IAFF Local 2665 since he began his career in 2000. Skip has a passion for writing and is the primary author and publisher of the Cottleville Firefighters’ website. He also co-founded and serves as the executive director for Cottleville Firefighters Community Outreach, a public charity founded by Cottleville Firefighters. Skip was recently named “Firefighter of the Year” by the St. Charles Elks. |
