Turner Classic Movies will be staging its first ever TCM Classic Film Festival in Hollywood, California. The event will be held April 22-25, 2010 and will be hosted by Robert Osborne.
Reuters reports that, the event will be screening 50 films and the network is inviting fans from around the country to join this new festival and share their passion for classic film. Passes for the festival will go on sale on November 18th.
There are no current listings up for the films that they will be showing but I would like to see films like, 'Rebel Without a Cause,' 'Imitation of Life,' 'Pillow Talk,' 'Westside Story,' 'Casablanca,' and other films starring actors like Cary Grant, Rock Hudson, Doris Day, Debbie Reynolds, Humphrey Bogart, Elizabeth Taylor, Bette Davis; oh and the list is endless- this should be a great experience for aficionado's of classic movies.
