Pinya Issa claimed second place among individuals to help Huston-Tillotson take second place in the Red River Athletic Conference men's cross country championships at Northwood University in Cedar Hill, Texas, Saturday.
Issa finished with a time of 27:22.
Paul Alexander, Rosangel Rodriguez, Alfraid Manning and Garfield Sinclair took 12th, 13th, 17th and 20th respectively to pace the Rams, who edged Southwest for second.
Host Northwood place all five of its runner in the top 10 to take the crown.
Langston finished fifth, Wiley College was sixth and Paul Quinn College took seventh.
In women's cross country, Lashanna Jimmerson finished ninth and Adriana Henderson was 10th as Langston took third place, behind Northwood -- which placed all five of its runners among the top six -- and Southwest.
Wiley College finished sixth and Paul Quinn was seventh.
