After a perfect run through the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference volleyball tournament, en route to the ninth consecutive crown, Albany State was selected to the NCAA Division II playoffs.
Chowan, which won the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association in its first year of eligibility, made the playoffs in the Atlantic Region.
Both schools have tough tasks as they'll each face the top seeds in their respective regions.
The Lady Rams (20-7) face Tampa (28-2) in the Southern regional Nov. 19 on the campus of University of Tampa.
The Hawks (27-8) visit California (Pa.) (32-4) Nov. 19.
