Gold medalist Gail Devers and Monique Hennagan will be among the Olympians scheduled to appear at the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's cross country championships Oct. 24.

In addition to the men's and women's SIAC championships, there will be an HBCU 3K challenge and a kids' fun run for the charity event at The Beach at Clayton County International Park in Jonesboro, Georgia.  A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Devers won gold medals in the 100-meter dash in 1992 and 1996, and gold in the 4x100 relay in 1996.  Hennagan took the 400-meter gold at the 2004 games.  Joining the pair will be Joetta Clark Diggs, a four-time Olympian in the 800 meters; Larry Myrick, considered by many to be the greatest long jumper in U.S. history; Kim Battan, world record holder and silver medalist in the 400-meter hurdles, and Ebonie Floyd.
