A group of eleven Central Texas artists have joined together for an upcoming contemporary art show. Works in oil, acrylic, collage/mixed media and sculpture will be exhibited; known as the collective, "Artitude," the artists are well-positioned to be the innovative group to watch for new heights of creativity and inspiration in the art scene. The artists will be exhibiting during the same time as the East Austin Studio tours in November, and welcome guests to attend the Artitude exhibit as part of their tour experience.

The showcase will feature contemporary paintings focusing on an abstract, artistic style. 20% of exhibit sales will be donated to SafePlace. For those interested in previewing the exhibition, a highlight of artwork for the show has been posted to the Art Space Gallery web site at http://austinartspace.com/Artitude.aspx.

The opening ceremony will be held from 6-9 pm on November 13th, 2009. The exhibit will run Friday-Sunday, November 13-15 and November 20-22, 2009. The Austin Art Space Gallery will also be open in the afternoon on Sunday, November 15 and Sunday, November 22 to coincide with the East Austin Studio tours.
