Gabrielle S. Faust is best known for her dark fantasy vampire series ETERNAL VIGILANCE and two collections of poetry, BEFORE ICARUS, AFTER ACHILLES and CROSSROADS. Her work has appeared SciFi Wire, Fear Zone, Fatally Yours and Doorways magazine, among other publications. A professional member of the Horror Writers Association and Association of Writers & Writing Programs, Faust will be appointed the Chair of the Texas Chapter of the HWA at the end of 2009. She was the Guest of Honor at the Anne Rice Vampire Ball in 2008 and a Special Guest of the Endless Night and Tru Blood & Gold vampire festivals, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the Vampire Film Festival in New Orleans, in 2009.
