The Ultimate Fighting Championship has announced the final card for its UFC 106 pay per view. The main event will see former light heavyweight champions Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin face off for the first time since UFC 59 in 2006.

Originally the event was to be headlined by the co-main events of Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar vs. Shane Carwin, and Tito Ortiz vs. Mark Coleman. Early in October Coleman dropped off the card however, pulling out due to a knee injury. Then after Griffin was added as a replacement, Lesnar announced that he would be pulling out of his fight with Carwin due to illness (later found to be mononucleosis). The UFC followed that news by announcing that a bout between Josh Koscheck and Anthony Johnson had been signed for the event, giving Johnson just four weeks between pay-per-view appearances.

After all the dramatics, injury, and illness, here is the final card for UFC 106:

Main Card
Light Heavyweight bout: Tito "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" Ortiz vs. Forrest Griffin
Welterweight bout: Josh "Kos" Koscheck vs.  Anthony "Rumble" Johnson
Welterweight bout: Amir Sadollah vs.  Phil "The New York Badass" Baroni
Light Heavyweight bout: Luiz "Banha" Cane vs.  Antonio Rogerio "Minotouro" Nogueira
Welterweight bout: Karo "The Heat" Parisyan vs.  Dustin "McLovin" Hazelett

Preliminary Card
Welterweight bout: Ben Saunders vs.  Marcus "Irish Hand Grenade" Davis
Welterweight bout: Paulo Thiago vs.  Jacob Volkmann
Middleweight bout: Kendall "The Spyder" Grove vs.  Jake Rosholt
Welterweight bout: Brock Larson vs.  Brian "The Foster Boy" Foster
Lightweight bout: Caol Uno vs.  Fabricio Camoes
Lightweight bout: George "The Souvalaki" Sotiropoulos vs.  Jason "Dynamite" Dent

Also: UFC 104 Results: "Shogun" pounds Machida, but the champ retains the title
