Whether it's a Glenn Beck Halloween mask or an eerie witch-hunt for America's worst spewers of "hate" and "lies", Glenn Beck is being singled out for what some would deem as his ultimate "scariness".
This week, Forbes.com placed Glenn Beck at the top of the list for THE SCARIEST PEOPLE OF 2009. The caption reads:
"I hereby amend Halloween Masks -- The Scariest People Of 2009 'Glenn Beck is the scariest person to big tax; big government; big spend;
and weak defense liberals.'"
Also, just in time for some Halloween shock and fright is a new website launched on October 29th called Stopthewitchhunt.org. Click here to check out the image of creepy conservative news commentators.
One can even join the witch hunt campaign against the conservative talk show hosts and their "witch hunt". Text updates and emails are available in order to "stop" these villains spreading "fear and mistrust", who according to the website, are clearly "scared of change."
The website included the following statement about Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Lou Dobbs, Paul Brown, and Pat Buchanan:
"It would be sad, even funny, if so many people weren't hurt by them. Hate crimes are up. False accusations and outright lies have cost good people their jobs and their reputations. And we don't know who will be next."
The same day this anti-conservative media website was launched, one of their targets, Lou Dobbs made headlines of his own. On October 29, the Associated Press reported how "Police in New Jersey are trying to determine who fired a bullet that struck CNN commentator Lou Dobbs’ home as his wife stood nearby."
On Lou Dobb's October 26th show on CNN, Dobbs told viewers that a "shot was fired at my house" following "weeks and weeks of threatening phone calls".
From the press release by Stopthewitchhunt.org:
"StoptheWitchHunt.org is just the beginning of a multi-media campaign to support a new resistance to these Halloween Goons."
