Jonathan Moncrief is in his second season covering the Los Angeles Kings for Examiner.com, writing feature stories, game summaries, and opinion pieces. Recently, the Kings asked him to serve in the role of ‘Featured Contributor’ on the re-launched fan-interactive portion of their website called ‘Hockeywood, L.A.’. Jon also serves as a sports radio talk show host on the Sports Journey Broadcast Network. Jon’s writing has appeared in numerous national and local print and on-line publications in New York, New Jersey, and Florida, and wrote hockey pieces about the New Jersey Devils and the NHL for AllSports.com. He served as lead writer and associate producer for the film 4CHOSEN The Documentary, which won Best Documentary at the 2008 Garden State Film Festival. In the fall of 2004, he also served in those roles for the weekly New York-based sports television series North Jersey Sports Showcase.
