The Center for Collaborative Mentorship is offering a free teleseminar series featuring interviews with business leaders who are skilled in the use of the powerful tool of masterminding. The term 'mastermind' was popularized by Napoleon Hill in his 1937 book Think and Grow Rich. Mr. Hill interviewed such business giants as Henry Ford, Alexander Graham Bell, Thomas Edison and Andrew Carnegie to discover the secrets behind their successes. He defined 'Master Mind' as the "coordination of knowledge and effort, in a spirit of harmony, between two or more people, for the attainment of a definite purpose." According to Mr. Hill, Andrew Carnegie's Master Mind group consisted of approximately fifty people, and he attributed his entire fortune to the power of this group and its insights.
Although the seminars have already begun, there are still opportunities to hear from modern-day practitioners of masterminding on Nov. 10, 17, 24 and Dec. 1. The presentations can be listened to by phone or over the internet, and are archived for a limited time for those who cannot hear them live.
