Denis O'Hare, award-winning actor, has been tapped as the newest addition to the True Blood entourage, playing the homosexual King of Mississippi.

Additionally, Stephen Moyer, who plays Vampire Bill, has alluded to a separation in his onscreen relationship with Anna Paquin, his real life love interest and girlfriend Sookie in the series. It seems the show will follow suit with Charlaine Harris' novels and give these two lovebirds a break (which, remember, opens up the door for Sookie's pseudo-relationship with Eric).

Werewolves, not to be confused with shapeshifters (which is what Sam Merlotte, played by Sam Trammell, is), will be introduced.

Alan Ball, along with the writers of the hit HBO series True Blood, have released scene reports featuring some very exciting highlights for season three. June 2010's debut will feature Alexander Skarsgård, otherwise known as the hunky vampire Eric Northman, in the buff - almost! Alan ball said he "appears without most of his clothes in the very first episode of season 3." As if that weren't enough of a delight, Godric returns! As Godric is no more, Allan Hyde, the actor who played vampire Godric and won over legions of fans (this one included!) with his tearjerking performance, will be featured in flashback scenes.
