It isn't the biggest site. It doesn't have supporters of the site screaming throughout the internet at the top of their lungs "Hey, look at us, we are better than eBay! And it certainly isn't the prettiest site to look at. However, despite all that, Atomic Mall (www.atomicmall.com) is the best alternative online selling site out there. Bar none.

Atomic Mall gets the best Google and other search engine exposure out of all other alternative sites. I have tried many and compared other sellers who sell at several sites and I have yet to find a case where another site out-Googles Atomic Mall in a head to head analysis.

A recent study comparing traffic statistics measured in Quantcast to the number of listings that a site has shows that Atomic Mall listings get twice as many page views per listing as its nearest competitor and as many as 8 times more page views than sites that are 10 times the size of Atomic Mall. They say dynamite comes in small packages and Atomic Mall is primed to explode in nuclear proportions.

What's most amazing is that the Atomic Mall is still under construction and not even close to realizing its true potential. Atomic Mall 2.0 will be unveiled shortly and will have numerous additional categories and features along with an extensive cosmetic facelift making the site more palatable to the eyes.

Why is Atomic Mall so successful for those sellers who use the site? Search engine exposure has to be the main reason but that alone will not ensure success. There is something about Atomic Mall that enables buyers to easily find what they are looking for and makes it easy for them to register, check out and submit payment. I have tried other sites in the past that have had good search engine exposure but I didn't make as many sales and I can only assume the reason was that buyers were reluctant to take the final steps needed to complete checkout. The shoppers didn't want to register for another new site.

Atomic Mall makes checking out and paying a breeze for customers the payment options Paypal, Google Checkout and Amazon Payments are integrated directly into the site along with combined shipping calculators to make the process go much quicker without the buyer having to wait on a manual payment method from the seller which can delay a purchase 2-3 days and by then, the buyer may have lost interest. Atomic Mall also has coupons integrated into the site which the seller can use to send promotions to his customers and now buyers can simply buy a gift certificate to present to someone for shopping in an Atomic Mall store.

Do I sell on Atomic Mall? Yes I do. Is this hype? Yes it is. Am I telling the truth? No. Yes. Maybe. In any case, don't take my word for what I am saying. Try Atomic Mall for yourself and come to your own conclusions. I have spoken about hype in the past. The same case applies here. Don't believe what I say. Do your own homework.

Atomic Mall isn't one of those sites that uses questionable tactics to make themselves look bigger and more thriving than they actually are. It has grown at an incredible pace over the last through a combination of hard work by its community and its owner who will not stoop to taking "shortcuts" in an attempt to impress people.
