More polls find Obama's approval rating in decline.
- A Pew Research Center poll, taken March 9-12, found that Obama’s approval rating slipped five points to 59 percent from 64 percent last month.
Obama’s overall disapproval rating climbed to 26 percent from 17 percent. The approval and disapproval ratings are similar to those garnered by Bush at a similar point in his presidency in 2001
- An Opinion Research Corp. poll, conducted March 12-15, found Obama’s approval rating dropped three points from late last month and 12 points from early February.
Obama’s overall approval rating declined to 64 percent from 76 percent in a Feb. 7-8 poll. His disapproval rating climbed to 34 percent from 23 percent.
Both surveys had a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percent.
Today's Rasmussen Presidential Approval Index rating of +4, is Obama's lowest rating to date.
This new data confirms what I first reported in the Obama half-time report, and followed up in the article about Schoen and Rasmussen's piece entitled "Obama's Poll Numbers Are Falling to Earth."
We will soon see whether Obama's propaganda war will be able to reverse Obama's negative trend.
