We changed strategy in Iraq. The surge worked. We need to finish the job. . . . No matter who is president. That's the message of the following ad veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan launched this week aimed at convincing the public that the United States is winning the Iraq war and should stay to finish the job:

Produced by Vets for Freedom, the ad will run in Michigan, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia, and on cable nationwide.

That is the same group that produced the web ads “Senator Obama: Talk to Commanders or Meet with Dictators?” and "Senator Obama: When will you finally visit Iraq?" Those ads took Obama to task for his willingness to meet with Ahmadinejad, and his failure to meet with Illinois veterans and failure to visit Iraq for nearly three years.
