Ben Smith reports Obama's campaign has created a Muslim liaison:

The job is complicated by the fact that Obama has been forced repeatedly to deny that he is Muslim, a situation that grates on some Muslim-Americans.

With articles even left leaning publications, such as the New Yorker, depicting Obama as Muslim, and news articles stating Obama isn"t reaching out to Muslims in Michigan, hiring a "Muslim liaison" isn't enough. Obama still needs to confront his Muslim issue head on.
