McCain ad blames Obama for rising gas prices

July 21, 3:38 PM

Senator McCain is launching a terrific new television ad that blames Obama for rising gasoline prices:

The announcer in the ad says, "Gas prices — $4, $5, no end in sight, because some in Washington are still saying no to drilling in America. No to independence from foreign oil. Who can you thank for rising prices at the pump?"

Watch the ad below.

Senator McCain's plan to achieve energy independence that supports more drilling, expands the use of nuclear energy, encouraging more research while investing in alternative energy sources-- the Lexington Project -- can read the plan here. Newsweek calls McCain's Lexington project a "grown-up" energy plan.
