William Ayers, America's unrepentant terrorist, and Obama associate, was invited to be a keynote speaker by the University of Nebraska in Lincoln right after the presidential election.
Now that Obama's attempts to sweep all the connections he and his wife have had with the terrorist Ayers and Ayers' wife, former FBI most wanted fugitive, Bernadine Dohrn, under the rug are falling apart, Ayers is no longer welcome in Nebraska.
On September 11, 2001, that's right 9/11, in an article in the New York Times, Ayers made it very clear he is not the least bit repentant about his terrorist activities:
'"I don't regret setting bombs,'' Bill Ayers said. '"I feel we didn't do enough.''
There are plenty of quotes in the Times article that illustrate why Obama's failure to throw Ayers under the bus, along with Wright and his church, constitutes a magnificent failure of judgment. I highlighted some of them here.
Ayer's, Dohrn, and their Weather Underground terrorist associates bombed, among other things, the Capitol building, the Pentagon, police stations and the home of a federal judge. Watch the following video, in which first Bernadine Dohrn and then Bill Ayers talk about the beginning of the Weather Underground:
The Obamas, despite their many assertions to the contrary, have had a long and close association with the Ayers and his wife.
Bernardine Dohrn and Michelle Obama worked in the same law office in 1987.
Thanks to Ayers, Obama led an education foundation called the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC), from 1995 to 1999, and remained on the board until 2001.
Ayers and his wife hosted a crucial meet-the-candidate event in their Hyde Park neighborhood home in 1995 for Obama's first run for the Illinois State Senate.
Obama and Ayers shared an address for three years 1995 -1998.
On December 21, 1997, Obama wrote a review of Ayers' book. In that book, Ayers mentions Obama.
FBI agents are upset about Obama minimizing his association with Ayers.
CNN investigated the Obama/Ayers connections and concluded "the relationship between Obama and Ayers went much deeper, ran much longer, and was much more political than Obama said."
New York Times reporter Scott Shane tried to whitewash the Obama/Ayers association. Stanley Kurtz took apart the New York Time's puff piece, which downplays the long relationship between Obama and the unrepentant Weather Underground terrorist, Bill Ayers.
At the April 16, 2008, Democrat debate in Philadelphia, George Stephnapoulous asked Obama about his association with Ayers. You can watch the exchange about the Obama/Ayers connection between Stephnapoulous, Obama and Hillary in the following video:
