"Always be ready to give a reason for the hope that is in you." 1 Peter 3:15
Would you like to share your testimony in a new and ongoing series called The Reason for Hope? The articles will be in addition to other apologetics articles posted by the Modesto Apologetics Examiner, sprinkled in between, here and there. In Acts Paul uses his personal testimony as apologetics (study Acts 26)—and so your personal testimony will be used as apologetics in this series.
You may remain anonymous if you like, and if you know anyone else who would have a great testimony to share, please send them a link to this article. Here is my personal testimony (not Q&A style) as an example: My Testimony
If you are interested in this personal testimony series, please answer these interview questions via e-mail:
1. What was life like before you were a Christian (or when you walked away)? Include the good and the bad. (If you walked away—why?)
2. What factors in your life did God use to draw you (back) to Christ? Describe the turning point when He began (or restored) your relationship with Him.
3. How has knowing Jesus changed your life and the way you look at life? Is it all sunshine and roses? What has He called you to do—has He given you renewed purpose? Share any doubts you had that have been resolved.
If you can include between one to three pictures (with your family or friends is cool) that help tell the story, that would be awesome. Feel free to include contact information, website, business or church information, etcetera. You will approve the final article before it is posted. Once it is posted, you can share the link with anyone—how cool is that?!
