My First Time is a play with rather risque subject matter performed at New World Stages.  Can you guess what it's about?

The show is played without an intermission, currently on Friday's at 10pm in Stage 5 of the theatre complex.  Come prior to show time and stop by the TONY Lounge for cocktails.

Initially, when audience members walk in, they are handed a questionnaire and asked to answer questions about his or her first time, all confidential of course...or is it?  The answers you provide in the questionnaire will be used later on--don't worry, it's fun!  In general, most people write down humorous responses (although not truthful, it will make for an entertaining sharing session).

The cast consists of four actors who each portray various characters involved in storylines.  It is almost watching four people (or a bunch of different people portrayed by these four actors) each confess a secret they have, or a funny story.  There are no costumes, no set--except for a projection screen which plays facts.  It is a very open and honest theatrical forum, and with the wrong actors, could be a complete disaster.

If you're looking for an active play, My First Time is not for you.  If you're looking for something different and interesting, unique in it's approach to acting and garnering a connection with the audience in an intimate (no pun intended) space, this would be a great night of theatre for you!
