When Dancing With the Stars takes a break after this season ends, Cheryl Burke might be headed to Broadway. Sources have told People that she could be taking on the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago.
She's got connections to the show already, as DWTS host Samantha Harris played Roxie last winter. Don't worry about her missing out on season 11 of DWTS though. According to the source, she would take on the part of Roxie between seasons only.
And not only would it let her continue dancing during the hiatus, she would even get to flex her vocals. The anonymous source said, “She’s excited to show off her other talents besides being a good dancer. She’s been vocally trained and she has a great voice.”
Burke's time on Dancing With the Stars this season was cut short after her partner, Republican former House Majority Leader and Sugarland resident Tom Delay, was injured.
