Vampire Diaries is getting hotter

A Houston born, Ohio bred actor is going to be joining the cast of The Vampire Diaries. Sean Faris is set to play a local who works at Mystic Grill. There's even a possible romance with one of the high school girls in store for his character, Ben. The most likely candidates seem to be Caroline, since Damon seems to have grown bored with her, and Bonnie, whose storyline has been growing into something much more interesting than the standard background best friend.
If Sean looks familiar, it's because this isn't his first time hitting prime time TV. He was in the short lived series Life As We Know It, which also starred Kelly Osbourne and Accidentally on Purpose star Jon Foster, and Reunion with Chyler Leigh of Grey's Anatomy.
If you still don't have a good grasp on who Sean is, or on the way his addition to the show will tip the hotness scale, do a Google Image search. You won't regret it.
