Tampa Yoga & Meditation Examiner | Bio
Find out more about Loren:

Loren Alix (a.k.a. "Light") was born in Norway, and moved to Mexico at the age of 7. By her thirteenth birthday, she had become an avid reader, as her father was. Her interest led her to ontology, the formal study of the nature of "being." This, in turn, sparked her interest in human spirituality and world religions. She studied Eastern religions with special enthusiasm, and began meditating in 1974, the year her father died; yoga and meditation gave comfort to her soul. By 1986, she had gone through many gurus, traveled to India, the Himalayas, Burma, China, and Japan, and got three yoga teacher certifications from Integral Yoga in New York City, Ananda Marga in India, and Zen Chi in Japan, followed by a kung fu black belt from a Shaolin kung fu master in China. She currently resides in Dunedin, Florida, which fits her yoga passion like a glove. Visit Loren's blog, or send her an email.
