Local Markets: Chester, CT Holiday Market to run sundays in Chester Center.
Reminicent of Holiday Markets that are found throughout Europe, Chester, CT will be holding its own winter market during the months of November and December. On the heels of its successful farmer's market during the summer and fall, Chester's holiday market will also feature fresh cheeses and artisan breads alongside fresh seafoods and meat (for vendors, see list). In true holiday style, there will also be music, strolling carolers, hot chocolate and mulled cider as well as cookie decorating for the kids.
The market will run on sundays from 12pm-4pm in Chester Center from November 22nd through December 20th. Vendors will be set up on the sidewalks and the town's shops will also be open. Directions to Chester, CT.
Special events will include: November 22nd Book and Calendar Signings and an Open House at the Chester Museum at the Mill. November 29th will feature Seeds 4 Growth, Healthy Holiday Foods. On December 6th, 13th, and 20th, the Chester Hose Company will be selling wreaths and trees and December 20th will have a special Children's Holiday Storytelling.
