Comedian Katt Williams gives the camera a smile after being taken into custody

Thirty eight year old comedian, Katt Williams, was arrested in the Atlanta area early Monday morning.  Williams was charged with burglary and criminal trespassing.  

Late Sunday night, Williams reportedly  used a crowbar to break into a home where $3,500 in jewelry and valuables were stolen. Upon being taken to Coweta County Jail, Williams gave the camera his famous grin for his mug shot.  All of this on the eve of his DVD release "It's Pimpin' Pimpin'", which comes out on Wednesday.  

TMZ reported, however, that Williams claims he was merely a guest in the house, not an intruder.  Williams lawyer, William Briggs told TMZ that Williams had been staying on the property for three weeks, with the property owners permission.  The property owner just happens to be the producer of the film that Williams is currently filming.  

Williams appeared in court today at 4PM but the outcome us currently unknown.
