According to Continental spokeswoman Julie King concerning 2009 holiday travel season, “Continental is offering a number of great fares to destinations all over the world this holiday season, with the best deals going to customers who are flexible with their travel dates.”

Nov. 29-30, Dec. 19, Dec. 26-27, and Jan. 2-3, 2010
Best fares are best before the 14-day advance for Thanksgiving holiday season travel. December holiday season travel usually has best fares before the 21-day advance. Tom Parsons of Bestfares.com says, “Airlines usually will stimulate some interest in flying by dropping fares on the softest days around Thanksgiving. And two of the softest days are the Sunday and Monday before Thanksgiving and the Tuesday and Wednesday after.”
