There's a yoga class for all levels every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at Usery Mountain Park in Mesa. Usury also offers birdwatching, brown bag talks about the desert we live in, and toddler cruises, just to name a few things. See the schedule.
Find the snake feeding at Estrella Mountain Park, in Goodyear, on the 22nd of this month or enjoy a sunset hike, a telescope hike, or learn to make a quail call with your child. See the full schedule here.

If you find lots to interest you at any of the parks, it's worth exploring an Annual Pass, good at all the desert/mountain parks in the system The price for these, at $75 ($65 for seniors) is comparable to other year-long memberships in the area. Lake Pleasant has its own fee schedules, see those here. Also, brand new, are coupon booklets, (under Special Discounts) which cost $15, $24 or $45, for three, five or ten visits respectively, at savings of $3, $6 or $15 off individual passes. This is a great way to 'try it and see if you like it' and these would make great stocking stuffers.
