San Marcos, CA-  Thursday November 12th Dr. Eli Berman is coming to the campus of CSU, San Marcos to disccus his new book Radical, Religious, and Violent: The New Economics of Terrorism (MIT Press, 2009).  The book is about how, through economics of organizations, he disspells the notion of radical religious thought process.  That the people behind the actual religion are really rational people who happen to be mistaken into believing an alturistic afterlife without any real understanding of what the religion really means.  But still use that religion to procreate their propaganda to their own ends.  The lecture will start at 12 pm(noon)  and will be in Academic Hall 102.

Dr. Eli Berman is a Associate Professor at UC San Diego in economics and has published many different articles in various publications about economic and its effects of society and religion.
