Germs are everywhere.  With all the illnesses that are going around nowadays we are probably more vigilant than ever about what we touch.  Especially what our children touch.  Kiddopotamus has a great table-top TinyDiner mat that suctions right onto any flat surface.  It is BPA-free and made with FDA compliant materials.  The mat covers a good amount of space, and unless your child has very long arms, they wouldnt be able to lay hands on the actual table surface.  The mat also has a scoop that hangs over the edge of the table to catch any items your child may drop.  (Or if your child likes to chew on the edge of the table like mine, the scoop covers that up too.)

The TinyDiner rolls up discreetly for easy carrying in your purse or diaper bag.  Comes in four pastel colors.  The lowest price I found was $10.88 from Walmart.
