"I am a man. I am an Anchorman!"
"I am a man. I am an Anchorman!"
Will Ferrell

For those who are familiar with miniature buddhas covered in hair and the unflattering effects of pleated pants, this news might make you eat a whole wheel of cheese-- Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, the creative forces behind Anchorman: the legend of Ron Burgundy, are currently in the early stages of developing the sequel.

"We have an idea, we love it, we've talked to the cast and they all love it," McKay recently revealed."It's all about scheduling now."

Some of you may have you doubts though and no one could honestly blame you. Sequels often tend to be about cashing in on previous box office success. McKay has taken this into account and promises disappointment. "All I can tell you is I know it's going to be a letdown." Sequels are often filled with so much expectation that a let down in almost unavoidable. "Always, the first one's the big one. So we've taken that into account, and we're trying to do an extra crazy idea. That's all I can tell you."

Well, that is enough to reel this little fishie in though the movie is still probably 2 years away. If you are jonesing for some Will Ferrell action in the mean time, he is currently filming a movie in New York City with Mark Wahlberg about two NYPD detectives, The Other Guys, set to be released this summer.
