Famous Devil's Tower in Alpine, NJ
New Jersey is the richest state in America, which means it is home to numerous affluent towns. These towns, which are mostly located in North Jersey, have large homes and residents who make over $60,000.
Here are my Top 3 Favorite Affluent New Jersey Towns:
1. Alpine, NJ - With a population of just over 2,000 residents, this quaint little town is located close to NYC. The town was recently named the most expensive zip code in America with a median home sale price of $3.4 million. The town is home to numerous celebrities such as P.Diddy, Lil'Kim, and Chris Rock. There are currently about 4 huge homes being built in the area and over 40 homes that are currently listed on the NJ MLS. Alpine is home to Rio Vista, an exclusive development made up of 20 or more homes. The largest home in New Jersey which measures a whopping 60,000 square feet is located in in Rio Vista.
2. Saddle River, NJ - The most expensive home on the market in New Jersey is located in Saddle River. It is a $27.5 French Chateau located on Trailside Place. Saddle River is home to the likes of Rev Run from DMC, Hip Hop Mogul Russell Simmons, and the Queen of Hip-Hop Mary J Blige. Mary J Blige owns a $12 million, 18,000 square foot mansion on one of Saddle River's most prestigious streets, East Saddle River Road. Saddle River is a peaceful town that is filled with newly constructed mansions every which way you turn.
3. Mendham, NJ - Mendham has been one of my favorite towns ever since I was little. It is comprised of large estates that are spread out over acres of land. It is such a peaceful town that mixes old and new money and is home to the likes of Neil Cavuto and Whitney Houston. As you drive through Mendham, you see rolling hills and large estate homes on top of them. Charolais Farms Road is one of most prestigious streets in Mendham. It is home to a 20,000+ square foot mansion that is simply amazing. It contains massive chimney stacks that can be seen from far away.
