Green is the new black. It’s the new rage and the ‘it’ thing to do. Going green is the new way people are making a positive impact on our planet. By recycling paper and plastic, buying organic foods and reducing their carbon footprint, people are making a conscious decision to save the environment. That’s great for the planet! What about the people living on it?

How can you take going green a little further and make a positive impact on society? What is your ‘human footprint’?

Everyone makes their contribution to our society. By taking an extra step you can make a bigger impact by affecting someone’s life.

Here are five ways you can take going green a little further:

1)  Smile - Look someone in their eyes and give them a big smile

2)  Do a good deed - Help someone in need

3)  Tell someone - Randomly tell someone close to you “I love you”

4)  Compliment - Compliment as many people as you can

5)  Be aware - Of what energy you are giving off

One of the biggest assets this planet has is the people. Another way of giving back to the environment, is making a positive impact on everyone around you!
