REO Speedwagon is an American band that was formed in 1967. Their popularity exploded in the early 80's with the release of their album, "Hi Infidelity."

"Hi Infidelity" sold over 10 million copies, and garnered four top 40 hits for the band. Besides "Hi Infidelity", REO Speedwagon released seven other albums in the 80's, some more successful than others. 

REO Speedwagon is currently still together. They play at fairs amd casinos, and are currently on their "Can't Stop Rockin" tour with Styx, another great  80's band.

 On October 27, 2009, REO Speedwagon will be releasing a Christmas album, "Not So Silent Night...Christmas With REO Speedwagon." It will feature 13 Christmas classics, sung by the band.
