UPDATE: Randy Quaid arrested in Texas, police say he assaulted them, resisted arrest

Randy Quaid and his wife Evi Quaid were arrested Thursday in Marfa, Texas. Presidio County Sheriff's deputies told TMZ Randy assaulted them physically and verbally and resisted arrest, but no charges will be filed against him for that.
Authorities in Texas and Santa Barbara County are working together to extradite Randy and Evi to California, where they are wanted for skipping out on a huge hotel bill.
Santa Barbara authorities believe the pair checked in with the intent to skip out on the bill, which would constitute burglary. They also are charged with the felony of defrauding an innkeeper.
