Julianne Hiugh was named top new artist at the 2009 Academy of Country Music awards.
Julianne Hough is the most graceful person on the dance floor, but that didn't help her Sunday night. She ripped her gorgeous beaded Zuhair Murad dress getting onto the stage to accept her top new artist award from the Academy of Country Music.
Actually, she told the audience, it was a welcome distraction from her nerves:
"It's a good thing I ripped my dress because now I have something else to think about!"
She's gorgeous, multitalented and still totally down-to-earth. And did we mention she's just 20 years old?
