Rumors that John Travolta covered up his son Jett Travolta's true diagnosis and refused to give him medical treatment for it are completely false, according to family attorneys, Michael Ossi and Michael McDermott.
TMZ reports that Jett had a history of grand mal seizures, for which he was treated with a medicine called Depakote. The drug helped, the attorneys said, so Jett took it for several years. But eventually the Depakote stopped working. Amid concerns about serious side effects and physical damage, Jett's doctors (including neurologists) took him off the drug.
Hopefully this will stop the negative speculation so the Travolta family can grieve in peace.
