Usher's new song "Papers," about getting ready for his divorce from Tameka Foster, was all over the Internet from the moment it was released on Monday. (Listen below.)
The scathing song -- co-written by Sean Garrett four months before Usher filed for divorce -- reveals Usher's feelings about the serious ish he went through in his marriage.
For you I gave my heart and turned my back against the world/ ’Cause you were my girl, girl, girl/ I done damn near lost my mama/ I done been through so much drama/ I done turned into the man that I never thought I’d be/ I’m ready to sign them papers.
If this track -- and others on his new album set to drop December 8 -- does anywhere near as well as the similar no-holds-barred tracks on his 2004 "Confession" album (10 million sold), Usher will have a monster hit.
