Enquirer claims lie-detector interview confirms Sarah Palin affair with husband's business partner

Talk about down and dirty. The National Enquirer claims Sarah Palin had an affair with husband Todd Palin's former business partner, Brad Hanson.
Ouch!
No less than three members of the man’s family including one by sworn affidavit, have claimed that Sarah Palin engaged in an extramarital affair with husband Todd’s former business partner, Brad Hanson.
Sarah and Brad both denied the affair, but the Enquirer apparently tracked down a "family insider" who swears the affair did happen — and he supposedly passed a "rigorous polygraph test."
This so-called "insider" is a former brother-in-law of Brad's estranged wife's brother.
If that's inside, we're not sure what's outside.
Nevertheless, the Enquirer insists that:
Hanson owned a snowmobile dealership with Palin’s husband Todd, who immediately dissolved the partnership after he heard stories about the affair, which occurred around 1996, according to the sources. At the time, Palin was mayor of Wasilla.
We have no idea if Sarah Palin had an extramarital affair. But we do know the Enquirer dogged John Edwards for 10 months before he finally admitted to the affair he had so adamantly denied.
With the presidential election only two months away, it's tough to say if this story will end up having much effect on John McCain's campaign.
