Hilary Duff's father in jail for contempt of court

Hilary Duff's father, Bob Duff, was taken off to jail in handcuffs for contempt of court after a judge determined he sold off some of his stocks without approval from the divorce court.
Bob is in the middle of a bitterly contested divorce from Hillary's mother, Susan Duff.
The court ordered him to pay the entire $367,537 he earned from the sale of his stock into a special court account — and gave Susan $12,500 to buy a gift and throw a party for Hilary's birthday (she turns 21 on Sept. 28).
That was half of what Susan had asked for.
Bob will spend 10 days in jail.
Neither Hilary nor ister Haylie Duff were in court.
