Yes, he did.
Republicans around the country must have dropped their jaws and said, "Oh no he didn't!" when Barack Obama basically dared John McCain to debate him on who has the temperament and judgment to be the next Commander in Chief, saying:
John McCain likes to say that he'll follow bin Laden to the Gates of Hell – but he won't even go to the cave where he lives.
Now, that's what we're talking about.
Also we loved how Obama talked about being raised in a poor home by a single mother and a grandmother who put off buying a car or a dress for herself so she could help Barack have a better life. Then he tossed off this one:
I don't know what kind of lives John McCain thinks that celebrities lead, but this has been mine.
