Dior China has yanked ads featuring Sharon Stone from stores across China after the actress suggested the country's devastating earthquake was "bad karma" for Beijing's policies in Tibet. No surprise there. Dior does not want to lose that money, just like Tibetans didn't want to lose their country.

Stone's remark obviously was ridiculous. Epidemics and natural disasters are not payback.

But before we jump on the send-Sharon-to-hell bandwagon, let's get real. The Chinese government is not the good guy here. Stone's stupid remarks don't make China's devastation of Tibet OK.

How about some equal opportunity bashing? Sharon Stone acted like an idiot. China's government acted acts like murderers and thieves.

There. We feel better now.
