The Daily News reported today that Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez plan to announce their divorce after his Valentine's Day concert at Madison Square Garden.
A friend of the couple told the Daily News:
Jennifer is planning on joining Marc onstage for a surprise duet. Things haven’t been right for a while now, and they thought it would be a bittersweet farewell.”
But Jennifer's publicist, Leslie Sloane, says it's all hogwash. She told E! Online:
There is no merit to the article."
That makes us happy. If they split up, it's their business, but we just don't get what could possibly be sweet about doing a duet together to announce your divorce. (Unless your names are Sonny and Cher.)
