Gregory Maguire

If you're too tired to get up and go to the movies after all the gifts have been opened and the turkey dinner has been eaten there's still no need for the post-frenzy blahs. Let Gregory Maguire — author of the Tony-Award winning "Wicked" — read  you the new story he wrote especially for the occasion.

Seriously. All you have to do is turn on the radio. Gregory will read "Matchless," his own spirited spin on "The Little Match Girl,"  on National Public Radio's "All Things Considered" on Christmas Day.

Gregory's books include "Wicked," "Son of a Witch," "Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister" and others.
