Miss Louisiana Teen USA Lindsey Evans at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas
Miss Louisiana Teen USA Lindsey Evans found out the hard way that the munchies are no joking matter. She and three girlfriends were arrested for an alleged dine-and-dash after leaving Posados Cafe in Bossier City, La., on Saturday without paying their $46 meal tab, according to the New York Post.
The diners apparently were in such a hurry that Lindsey left her purse behind. The restaurant found her purse — with her driver's license and a baggie of marijuana inside — and turned it over to the police.
When Lindsey came back to get her purse, the police were still there. So Lindsey got charged with both theft and possession of marijuana, TMZ reports.
Here's the worst part: Lindsey actually paid for her part of the bill, according to one of her friends. She left her cash on the table. The other three were going to pay with debit cards, one of them told the Post, but:
The service was so slow, we just said, 'screw it' and left."
Not such a good idea.
No word yet on whether Lindsey will keep her crown. Her reign ends next month anyhow.
