Video wars: New Obama ad knocks McCain for owning seven houses (and not even knowing it)

John McCain's ads portray Barack Obama as a celebrity who is too out of touch with the issues to lead America. Now Obama is fighting back with ads that portray McCain as a spolied rich person who is too out of touch with Americans to lead them.

Obama is jumping on McCain's response to being asked how many houses he owns. McCain said, "I'm not sure, I'll have to check with my staff."

Obama jumped on that like a dog on a bone.

"If you don't know how many houses you have, then it's not surprising that you might think the economy is fundamentally strong," he said. "But if you're like me, and you got one house, or you are like the millions of people who are struggling right now to keep up with their mortgage so they don't lose their home, then you might have a different perspective."

And now, the new ad. Which reminds McCain how many houses he owns. Seven.
