    Dave Matthews Band sax player LeRoi Moore dead at 46

    We're sad to report that LeRoi Moore, saxophonist and founding member of Dave Matthews Band, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was 46.

    The band's web site reports that LeRoi died suddenly of complications from the June 30 ATV accident in which he punctured a lung. He had recently returned home to Los Angeles for intensive rehabilitation.

    The band is scheduled to play tonight at Staples Center in Los Angeles. As of now, they are still expected to play.

    His passing leaves a huge hole in the heart of the music world. We will truly miss him.
